Busy Bees at Longford
On Thursday 28th April we had a visit from the Three Bees Cooperative who came into school to teach us about bees, humans and the environment and how they interact.
We took part in all kinds of bee-related activities; such as, discussions, games, honey tasting and waggle dancing, and learnt about topics such as pollination, bee anatomy, pesticides and insect life-cycles.
We even tried on beekeeping suits just like a real beekeeper.
